The Contracts and Closing Course is one of three mandatory 30-hour Postlicensing courses required for newly licensed North Carolina provisional brokers. This course builds on the foundational knowledge from Prelicensing education, offering a deeper exploration of essential topics crucial to real estate professionals.

  • Fundamental contract law concepts
  • Preparation and procedures for real estate sales contracts
  • Buyer’s due diligence
  • Closing procedures and disclosures
  • The Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA)
  • Contracts for deed and options
  • License status and continuing education requirements

Students will not be permitted to continue a class without proof of purchase of required textbooks/manuals and materials.

  • Be prepared to show your textbook/manual or receipt on the first day of class.
